Enable 'Administrators Can Log in as Any User' Feature

Description

With this feature enabled, System Administrators can log in as any user in their organization without needing user permission.

Before Enabling

If your organization does not have one of the supported editions, vote for the enhancement request on IdeaExchange. Verify your edition here.

This feature does not apply to Experience Cloud Site Users.

A system administrator cannot log in as an inactive user.

Resolution

To enable the feature:

In Salesforce Classic:

  1. Click Setup.
  2. Enter Login Access Policies in the Quick Find box.
  3. Select the Administrators Can Log in as Any User checkbox.
  4. Click Save.

In Lightning Experience:

  1. Click the gear icon > Setup.
  2. Enter Login Access Policies in the Quick Find box.
  3. Select the Administrators Can Log in as Any User checkbox.
  4. Click Save.
